The R-3 (Roadcrafter 3) is the third-generation one-piece Aerostich suit. It is 100% waterproof and unlined for maximum airflow, yet slips quickly and easily over your street clothes. Its full-length waterproof zipper entry system is fast, and it doesn’t flutter or flap in the wind. Without a lining, it wears cooler, and with seam-sealed rainproof zippers, you’ll also stay completely dry, even during the wettest conditions.

Each R-3 takes more than an hour longer to manufacture than previous Roadcrafters, but it’s worth it. You’ll enjoy higher levels of performance, comfort, and protection on every ride. And like its predecessor Roadcrafters, the R-3 is constructed of Aerostich’s exclusive mil-spec 500d TLTex® fabric. It’s a strong, long-lasting and highly abrasion-resistant material ideal for this use.

For increased protection, there’s a double layer of this fabric across the seat and 1000d abrasion-resistant layers covering the vital elbow/shoulder/knee areas. Beneath each of these is a superior energy-absorbing system utilizing removable, oversized TF impact armor. Each armor attachment point is adjustable to allow fit to be fine-tuned for comfort and ensure it stays in place for best protection. Separately available hip, spine and chest armor options further increase the R-3’s capabilities.

With its oversized two-slider underarm vents, a two-slider back vent, and magnetic clasps to hold open the fold-down dual-height collar, you ride both cool and protected. As temps drop and when precipitation comes you’ll remain cozy and dry, too, because the adjustable Ultrasuede collar fits comfortably around your neck, even with varying base layers.

Additional features include flap-covered hip-side water-resistant zippers for fast access to your street pants, a hidden pass-thru port for an electric liner power cord, nine strategically placed everyday-useful pockets, a mini-carabiner helmet holder at the upper chest pocket, a highly water-resistant inner wallet/phone/iPod pocket, fit-adjustable ankle and wrist tabs, articulated knees, fit-adjustable waist tabs and an integrated stretch panel across the lower back. There are also oversized 3M Scotchlite® reflective areas across the back, chest, and ankles to enhance conspicuity in low-light conditions.

Over 30 standard color combinations give each R-3 a personalized style, and add-on options include Integrated Boot Raincovers, electrically heated and non-heated Chest Insulation and Impact Pads, an Emergency Medical Info Pocket, and detachable arm and thigh Map and Accessory Pockets.

Four standard body colors: black, grey, tan, and hi-viz lime yellow. Six standard abrasion area colors: black, grey, hi-viz lime yellow, cobalt blue, red, or pink. Machine washable. Men’s sizes 34 regular, 36–54 short, regular, or long. Women’s sizes 2-20 short, regular, or long. Choose TF3 or TF6 armor. Made in USA

Jump in, zip up and go. The R-3 'Lights' prioritize every day commuting and errand running. All-in-one protection from weather and other mayhem, with your destination street clothing beneath. Perfect for short-hop on-and-off-the-bike urban use. Also wears great for relaxed day-long rides and on tours of any length.

Advanced zipper and flap designs make this an absolutely waterproof one piece riding suit, and this lighter weight model provides a slightly cooler-wearing experience during hot conditions, too. The suit maintains all the time-tested Roadcrafter design elements for unsurpassed function and a better fit.

R3 Light innovations include completely waterproof zippers, a snap down collar with removable magnetic hold-open clasps, a hidden water-resistant wallet/phone/iPod pocket and custom adjustable impact armor positions.

Options include Integrated Boot Raincovers, Chest Impact and Insulation Pads (Standard and Electric/Heated versions), Boot Raincovers, Back and Hip Armor and all the other Roadcrafter options.

The R-3 Light's 200d HT Nylon outer fabric, plus a hidden layer of 500D fabric at the elbow/shoulder/knee areas, has an abrasion resistance about two-thirds that of an R-3, but still provides real-world protection. May also be worn without any of its Impact Armor for weather or abrasion protection that packs away very compactly.

Twelve color combinations: Grey, Black, or Hi-Viz body colors with Grey, Black, or Hi-Viz abrasion areas. Standard machine washable (with removal of collar magnets). Men's 34 regular and 36–54 short, regular or long. Women's 2-20 short, regular or long. Choose TF3 or TF6 armor. Made in America

The Tactical model eliminates the double-layer of abrasion-resistant fabric at the elbow/shoulder and knee areas. While slightly decreasing the total abrasion resistance at these areas, this allows the ultralight weight Tactical to wear even cooler and provides slightly more ease of movement. Everything else is the same as an R-3 Light. Available colors: black, grey, or hi-viz lime yellow.

An ultralight Darien Jacket and pants would make a great urban riding tool (...we said to ourselves). So we build them just this way, using a tough, HT200D Nylon TLTex® fabric. This lightweight Cordura-like material is far tougher than ordinary nylon fabrics of similar weight that offer about a third less abrasion resistance than the regular Darien's stiffer 500D fabric.

On the other hand this lighter weight version provides so much more ease and comfort it's better for many kinds of rugged outdoor activities beyond motorcycle riding.

The Darien Light really comes into its own for commuting and general riding, especially in atrocious weather where it will flat-out work better than whatever you now wear.

The unlined Darien Light Jacket and Pants wear dryer and comfortably across a wide temperature range. Its many integrated features have been rider-proven to work better on all kinds of rides in all kinds of weather.

The Jacket is a lightweight yet hard-as-nails protective system for your upper body that lets you ride in safety and comfort, regardless of harsh conditions. It's light, tough, simple, and practical because that's what works best.

From its revolutionary introduction in 2008 and through its discontinuance in 2013 which was caused by materials (supply-chain) complications, this was the best leather gear available.

The NEW Transit 3 has all of the exact same features and details of the original. It's still just as durable. And as tough. And as waterproof. (The Transit 3's leather is a bit softer and even more comfortable, though.)

This two-piece waterproof/breathable leather suit is a long-term investment in all-weather protection and comfort you will appreciate on every ride. Jacket and Pants are available together or separately.

Waterproof and breathable leather gear that outperforms traditional leathers. It’s made from a new CORIUM+ material combining specially treated high quality leather with an integrated waterproof laminate to provide exceptional levels of protection and comfort in all types of weather.

The unique built-in technology is a breakthrough in toughness and durability, too. In wet, fog or misty conditions it won’t soak up moisture so it never gets heavy, and always dries immediately after riding through severe rain. And the leather itself is ultra-supple, luxurious and flexible.

Inside is a set of six carefully fitted yet easily removable TF armor systems — elbow, shoulder, knee, hip and back pads — to provide superior energy absorption with less movement restriction. So no matter what your local riding conditions and plans, or what the immediate climatic situation, you’ll be a lot more protected and comfortable.

Technically, the Transit’s micro-perforated breathable CORIUM+ leather contains a new, unique, proprietary treatment that helps keep it from absorbing water. The millions of micro-vents across the surface of the leather insure that during high activity the moisture on your skin will evaporate right through, even though the suit is worn fully zipped and closed. Only the finest cow hides are selected for this complicated processing and tanning technology.

Design updates of the new ‘3’ version include waterproof underarm vent zippers, a slightly larger pocket on the right forearm (perfect for toll-road money, house keys, etc.), a fold-away reflective cover over the dual-slider zipped back vent, and a near-full circumference (270°) pant-to-jacket zipper. The main pant and jacket zippers are the newest waterproof type, which further increases the Transit’s durability and functionality. Completely waterproof. Jacket available in Black or Hi-Viz, sizes 38–52. Pants available in Black only, sizes 30–44 waist. Imported.

Note - The early-production Transit 3 jackets have ‘European’ main zippers. Only the main zipper is this way. This means that the zipper slider on these jackets is located on the left side of the zipper. All Transit 3 jackets manufactured later have ‘American’ style right-handed zippers.

If you fancy the waterproofness and uniquely experienced look of classic, traditional 100% English waxed cotton gear but demand modern venting, TF3 or TF6 technical armor and Scotchlite™ reflective areas, a Falstaff ought to do it.

Its authentic English waxed cotton is exactly the same fabric proven in traditional British outdoor and rider’s gear. Rugged 8.25 ounce fabric, made the same way for over 170 years, with proven resistance to inclement weather, while the cotton fibers allow it to breathe. It is highly durable, exceptionally comfortable and proven by generations of riders, outdoorsmen and commercial fisherman (wearing oilskins) in the harshest conditions. As the fabric ages it also develops a well-worn and comfortable patina, telling your unique story of every mile ridden.

The Falstaff features a rich plaid cotton lining, with two huge inside pockets, a soft Ultrasuede faced collar, and an oversized cargo pocket behind the back vent reflective flap.

In hot weather it wears more comfortably than the British jackets because of its generous dual slider zippered underarm and back vents. And the Aerostich TF3 or TF6 impact armor provides crash performance far beyond what the 'olde-blighty' gear offered. Cleans with a damp sponge.

The abrasion resistance of waxed cotton (when compared to the Darien's 500 Denier Cordura) is better than you'd think. Black, Brown, Orange, or Green. 36–54. Choose TF3 or TF6 armor. Made in America
